As it is told in the press release on a site of Administration of the Vurnarsky area of the Chuvashisky Republic, in the sports world this tournament gains the increasing popularity, the geography of its participants extends. If in former years to a carpet in Vurnarakh there were athletes of Chuvashia and regions of the Volga federal district, this time there arrived team even from Moscow. Athletes showed up to solemn to formation from Mordovia, the Ulyanovsk, Nizhny Novgorod areas, Tatarstan also. Certainly, the greatest number of participants was from Chuvashia, on tournament arrived from 15 areas of the republic.

Children were welcomed by the people who have reached in this sport of the highest results, among guests there were Sergey Kornilayev, the quadruple world champion, the bronze prize-winner of the XXII Olympic Games (1980), the owner of the World Cup, Ivan Grigoryev, the head coach of the national teams of Chuvashia on free-style wrestling, the master of sports of the USSR of the international class in free-style wrestling, the champion and the repeated prize-winner of the championships of the USSR, the silver prize-winner of the European championship on free-style wrestling, Sergey Kolesnikov, the double champion of the USSR in free-style wrestling, Vladimir Semenov, the honored worker of physical culture and sport of Chuvashia, etc.

Sporting achievements were wished to children by the head of administration of the Vurnarsky area Leonid Nikolaev, and also initiators of competitions Vyacheslav Yakovlev and Alexander Petrov. Vyacheslav Yakovlev, though was born and grew in Krasnoarmeisky district, but long-term work in our area for the rest of life connected it with vurnarets. Nowadays he is the judge of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. On tournament there arrived his fellow countrymen, representatives of an association of natives of Krasnoarmeisky district Alexey Lvov and Alexander Yakovlev.

The head of administration of the Vurnarsky city settlement Alexey Vladimirov, the deputy of Vurnarsky regional Meeting of deputies Rifkat Kimetov, heads of the sports organizations of the Vurnarsky area were guests of honor of tournament also.

This day to a carpet there were more than 200 athletes, competitions went on two carpets at the same time. Both young men, and girls showed persistent fight, showed force and dexterity. Trainers prompted to them, were ill to blue in the face. It was felt that everyone arrived on tournament with the purpose to win, and the strength of mind in fight played an important role. There was all: both triumph of winners, and disappointment of the lost. Passion of fight held attention of fans until the end of competitions. Heavy fight, persistence gave the strongest on a podium, to them handed over medals and prizes.
