In the first day of tournament the Buryat athletes didn't manage to win any medal

On March 29 in Ulan-Ude passed opening of the international tournament on prizes of the head of Buryatia. We will remind, athletes take part in tournament from 12 countries of the world and 11 regions of Russia. Such tournaments of a class "A" are carried out in only five cities of the country.

Shortly before carrying out this considerable in the world of sports of Buryatia of an event there was a scandal – some known athletes declared that won't participate in house tournament because, in their opinion, they are in a distress, money for them isn't allocated.

However, literally some days before a ceremonial opening of competitions scandal nevertheless managed to be settled, and the Buryat wrestlers came to a carpet.

In the first day medal events in four weight categories – 57, 65, 74 and 97 kilograms were held. In these weight categories three athletes from Buryatia – Tsyrendorzho Tsydenov (57 kg), Alexey Borovitsky (65 kg) and Bator Dorzhiyev (97 kg) acted. But, unfortunately, Bator Dorzhiyev managed to reach final fights only.

Before final fights the floor was taken by the head of the republic Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn. He congratulated present on an important event and wished to athletes of good performances. After it the double Olympic champion, the sixfold world champion Arsen Fadzayev acted. By the way, tomorrow, on March 30, it will hand over from itself(himself) personally and from federation the car to the best athlete of tournament. What brand there will be a car, yet isn't reported.

In weight category of 65 kg the third place was divided by Nadyrbek Uulu Ulan (Kyrgyzstan) and Ivan Fillipov from Krasnoyarsk. Silver the representative received Kemerovo Mortuy-Ool Mengi, and gold was taken away by Dagestani Ahmed Chakayev.

- Mortuy – very gifted young man, the bright representative of attacking school of wrestling – it sharp, fast, - the known Buryat trainer Valery Sydeev commented on final fight. – I took the first two points, I started working for account deduction, to hold down, but Chakayev chose a moment and made attack in feet.

In weight category of 74 kg after persistent fight with the Yakut wrestler I took gold Iza Daudov, playing for Krasnoyarsk. The second place was taken away to Kyrgyzstan by Innokenti Innokentiyev, and the third – Azamat Sufiyev (Tajikistan) and Artur Hutsistov (Kemerovo).

Numerous audience and fans of tournament with impatience expected final fights in weight category of 97 kg. In this category for the third place Bator Dorzhiyev, the only Buryat who in the first day of competitions managed to reach the final fought.

Wrestling was very unpredictable, 23-year-old Bator who easily begun and has won the first period, by the end of performance handed over while his rival on the contrary increased the pace and followed all instructions of the trainer. Bronze literally "departured" to Armenian Aryutyunyan Karapet representing Krasnoyarsk.

On March 30 duels in weight categories 61, 70, 86 and 125 of kg will take place. Here much more Buryat wrestlers so our national team still has chances of medals will already act.
