In capital sport center "Uzbekistan" started the judo Uzbekistan Championship among men and women in which more than 350 athletes from all Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan take part

According to Federation of judo of Uzbekistan traditional tournament for the first time becomes a platform for review of forces of athletes and identification of the most perspective of them, after all since the present championship, in it take part only on four strongest judoists in 7 weight categories and in the category "Absolute" from each area of the country. As representatives of federation note, the innovation will serve strengthening of competitive wrestling among athletes.

- Today I started the Championship of Uzbekistan of 2014 among men and women. During competitions meetings of athletes in weight categories to 81 kg, to 90 kg, to 100 kg and over 100 kg of the man, and also to 63 kg, to 70 kg and over 78 kg of the woman took place. Those who occupied 2 and 3 places will be a reserve part of a national team of the Republic of Uzbekistan and will be involved in preparation for the Olympic Games in Rio De-Janeyro, and also to Asian games which will take place in Korea, - noted the referee, the director of Federation of judo of Uzbekistan, the judge of the Olympic category Nikolay Mirzarakhmanov.

In the second day of the championship among participants it will be possible to see and leaders of our national team – Rishod Sobirov who will act in weight category rather new to 66 kg, Yakhje Imamov in weight category to 81 kg, Boltaboya Boltayev in weight category over 100 kg and others.
