The world champion from Azerbaijan is put on the international wanted list

Partnership in forgery and abuse of office powers – the world champion in judo among disabled people Razi Safarov is searched by the Interpol for commission of these crimes.

As transfers azerisport.com, Safarov was born on June 10, 1981 in Dzhakhri Nakhchyvanskoy village ARE. At the age of 25 years partially I lost sight.

In 2011 I tried to obtain the Turkish nationality to support Turkish national team. By then Safarov already had two passports – Russian and Azerbaijani. However, he asked a political asylum, being in Kodzhayeli and declared that, despite existence of offers at it from other countries, he wants to play for Turkey. "I always got support from Turkey and I consider myself as the Turk" - Safarov explained.

Safarov had big sports plans, he was going to support Turkish national team on Paralimpiadakh in London and Rio, but didn't manage to obtain nationality. Its inquiry was refused by the ministry of sports of Turkey though he was supported by head of society of athletes of Turkey with the weakened sight Abdullah Çetin.

Let's note that along with it, on the wanted list it is put three more Azerbaijanians, but they have no relation to sports.
