At the beginning of March, 2013 50 years from the date of carrying out superiority of a zone of Siberia in Tuva for permits in the ending of the III sports contest of the people of RSFSR were executed

Commands of Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tyumen, Tomsk, Kemerovo, Irkutsk areas, Krasnoyarsk and Altai edges took part in them and the Tuva ASSR. Into a line-up of the Tuva ASSR entered eight best wrestlers of the republic led by the trainer, the master of sports by Izail Chasanoff.

And all began in far 1957. Then our command was the outsider in the Siberian zone. Till this day our wrestlers didn't see the real wrestling mat. Trainings and competitions held on gymnastic mats. Trained in unadapted cold locations where in the winter wrestlers had to heat an oven-kontromarku. For the first time the section of Greco-Roman wrestling in 1957 was organized by the trainer-teacher of school of mechanization Pavel Mikhaylovich Petrov. Even I held Greco-Roman wrestling competitions. Seeing that the technique of free-style wrestling because in national wrestling khuresh the victory is adjudged when opponent on blades you will suppose is closer to Tuvinians. And in 1958 I opened section of free-style wrestling and I organized competition. The veterinarian of state farm took part in them from the Ulug-Hemsky region Izail Chasanoff and won against all. So they got acquainted.

In 1959 I.Khasanov started working as the teacher in Kyzyl agricultural technical school and organized section of free-style wrestling among pupils of this educational institution. Pupils of national school No. 2 of Kyzyl who were interested in free-style wrestling, too began to walk in this section. Those years workers of Hove-Aksynsky cobalt combine started being interested in free-style wrestling young workers of the passenger and motor transportation enterprises. Under the direction of the Komsomol organizations started organizing Oblspotrkomitet's section, the City town committee of Komsomol and Council of volunteer sporting societies and the organizations "Spartak", "Crop", "Manpower reserves", "Petrel", "Dynamo" organized and held free-style wrestling competitions and other sports on prizes of the City town committee of Komsomol and on superiority of city. It yielded the positive result in development of free-style wrestling.

The first large organized free-style wrestling competition took place in January, 1959. This year became the base of this sport in Tuva. And 50 years later, on January 18-19, 2009, the free-style wrestling championship of the republic among veterans, men and women on prizes of the Chairman of the Government of Tuva, devoted to the 50 anniversary of free-style wrestling in our republic was held.

But we will return to the present anniversary devoted to competitions of 1963. Then due to the lack of a gym competitions on superiority of the Zone of Siberia held in the building of national theater of the capital of the republic. Under march sounds on scene brightly illuminated with guns there pass through a hall athletes of all areas and edges of the USSR, including the Tuva ASSR. More than 70 people in wrestling body stockings are built in a strict formation

Participants of competitions heat are welcomed by the secretary of regional committee of CPSU of comrade Shoygu, on behalf of regional party committee he congratulates wrestlers on the beginning of serious examination of their skill and wishes success in honest duels. Also the representative of the All-Russian Council of the Union of sporting societies and the organizations comrade Ulyanov appeared, it will read to the council telegram, received strongest wrestlers of Siberia. On behalf of presidium of the Tuva sport council its chairman comrade Yuryev appears. The flag of zonal competitions is lifted by the masters of sports of the USSR Krasnoyarsk citizen Dmitry Mendiashvili and resident of Kemerovo Alexander Vakhtel.

According to forecasts of the representative of a command of Tuva of Nikolay Koreshnikov speech of athletes of our republic was evaluated so: one of the first applicants for a prize-winning place he called M. Oorzhak, successfully could appear, in his judgement, also N. Mereshko, I.Chasanoff and N. Taskarakov. It is necessary "полусредневесу" to A.Borovikov, "middleweights " to V. Kripan and the athlete of a light heavyweight I.Vilman more difficultly. And Martalay Oorzhak in the first wrestling justified hopes of the command, all fellow countrymen, having won against the opponent in 11 points. Remaining wrestlers didn't justify hope. Next day successfully appeared: M. Oorzhak, N. Mereshko, I.Chasanoff and N. Taskarakov.

So, from seven wrestlers of the national team of Tuva about final day of zonal competitions of the strongest in Siberia four reached. In team offset wrestlers of our republic already pressed collective of the Tyumen region and advance residents of Tomsk a little. And the experimental collective of Krasnoyarsk Krai is in the lead among Siberians. Three days at musical and drama theater boiled passions of fans. Sports courageous, the strong, strong-willed very much even pleased to the audience, fans of national wrestling khuresh.

As a result the command of Krasnoyarsk Krai won first place. The Novosibirsk command quitted on the second place. It is necessary to mark that the debut of wrestlers of our republic at such large competitions passed rather successfully if to consider that a few years ago even in Kyzyl didn't know that such free-style wrestling. It is a merit of enthusiasts trainers P. Petrov, I.Chasanoff and principals of the organizations, a city town committee, regional committee of Komsomol and Presidium of the Tuva sport council and a manual of Regional committee of CPSU of that time. Without having sporting basis, managed to organize and hold in the republic competitions of the Zone of Siberia at high organizational level.

More than 50 years later free-style wrestling in our republic became a leading sport on an equal basis with national wrestling khuresh Our wrestlers became champions and prize-winners of the Russian, European and international competitions, and also participants of Olympic Games. Even female wrestlers have the sports hall for trainings. Pioneers of this sport fought on the gymnastic mats laid on sand of present stadium "Khuresh", and fought on a scene of national theater. Now there was customary a carrying out the international competitions on free-style wrestling. It is enough to call the Centre of Asia tournament which was carried out more than 35 times.
