On November 24 in a gym of the Yakut Theological seminary took place tournament on judo among young men and girls of 2001-2002 and 2003-2004 year of birth on a cup of the Bishop Yakut and Lensky Roman.

147 children participated in competitions from different clubs of judo of the capital of the republic, and also from settlements Zhatay, Markha, Mokhsogollokh, the cities of Pokrovsk and Olekminsk.

Tournament was opened by the rector of the Yakut Theological seminary Abbot Andrey. He wished to participants of competitions of belief in own forces, victories and further successes in the chosen field. "Let, despite rivalry, on a tatami the spirit of support, a friendly arrangement and cheerful mood reigns", - he noted.

According to the president of Federation of judo of the republic Oleg Tarasov, the Yakut and Lensky Diocese constantly holds children's tournaments on this sport: tournament of memory of Prelate Innokenti, Easter tournament, Christmas tournament, and now and tournament on a cup of the Bishop Yakut and Lensky Roman. "There is a wish to thank heartily the Diocese for assistance in development of children's sports", - he told.

Following the results of competitions in each weight category winners were defined. As a result more than all points the DYuSSh-2 team which got the Cup of the Bishop gathered. Medals, diplomas and valuable presents are handed over to all prize-winners.
