Al-Klych Hasayev (1880-1920) — the Dagestan athlete — the weight lifter, and the wrestler, on a nationality the Kumyk. In 1917 — 1920 the active participant of Muslim movement in the North Caucasus. Shot by sentence of the Dagestan regional roar Tribunal

The glorified son of Dagestan, the well-known athlete and the wrestler, pride of the Kumyk people, "Heracles" XIX-XX invincible Al-Klych Hasayev was born centuries in Buglen's settlement, district Temir-Han-Shurinskogo in a family of the poor. The father was called by Hasay, mother Patimat-hanum. At Al-Klycha was three brothers and two sisters. Prefix "Al" (the first, leading) he received when won a victory on a wrestling mat. Low growth, but strong constitution, Klych was at heart the generous person. On the money earned by it in circus and on a carpet, he often bought various gifts to poor people. About its improbably huge natural power and feats legends went. Hasayev became a legend still during lifetime. The rails of a narrow-gage railway twisted in a spiral testified to reality of its mighty force. Results of its feats still remained and are in quality of exhibits in a school museum in Buglen's settlement of the Buinaksk area.

Eyewitnesses who watched performance Kumyk narta, remembered how on his shoulders rails (an old sample) bent, cable columns as it brought down on a back as a cat, a bull weighing 2 t broke. Knitted knots from thick iron rods, tore chains and thick ropes, etc. Klych could lift without effort a horse with the horseback rider. Being in Aksay the Kumyk athlete, having taken the heavy round weight in hand and having broken off from it the handle, gave it as keepsake to locals.

Force and power of Al-Klych reached such limit that without having found itself rivals among people, it entered once wrestling with a lion. According to the late daughter Al-Klycha Soltanat, there was it so:" Being in Petersburg on large tournament where were present tsar Nikolay II with the spouse, all capital elite, and also a great number of foreigners, Al-Klych  won against the favourite wrestler of the tsar (this wrestler as a result of wrestling was lost). The tsar was in rage, and only intervention of crowned spouse Aleksandra Fiodorovna helped to calm him, Al-Klych agreed to enter at the request of the tsar wrestling with a lion. Against it let out the enraged lion. The lion struck with paws to him in a breast, and the wrestler fell. At this moment the lion jumped on it. Al-Klych intercepted a lion on the fly and broke off to him a mouth. After that, because of the superhuman tension, Al-Klych fainted and recovered only for the third day. The tsar and all present were not only are surprised, but also shocked. Nikolay II generously awarded him for this feat". On the gold belt presented by the tsar, the scene of a duel of Al-Klych with a lion was engraved.

On the international scene Al-Klycha Hasayev it was known under the pseudonym "Roben". To his talent and skill applauded and admired in halls and arenas of Chicago, Delhi, Washington, Stockholm, Paris, London, Rome, Tehran, Istanbul and in many other places. Al-Klych won against such known wrestlers and athletes of that time as: Frenchman Raul Le Bush, Russians Ivan Zaikin and Ivan Shemyakin, Dane Pederson, Austrian Joseph Grafelni, Iranian Bilal, Estonian George Lurikh, Pole Stanislav Zbyshko, Ossetian Bol Konukov ("Kazbek the Mountain"), the glorified Iranian wrestler by the nickname "Black Sledge", etc.

The Russian writer D. Kornev admired with Al-Klychom, wrote about it the book under the name "Athlete Rubin" where told about triumphal victorious procession Dagestan narta on the capitals of the European powers.

Many heard about the well-known Zaporozhye Cossack, the athlete and wrestler Ivan Poddubny. But very few people know that Al-Klych easily won against the glorified athlete an internal duel. There was it in Petersburg where Ivan Poddubny having honestly recognized the defeat, personally removed and handed over Alkylychu the gold champion belt. "It not the person, and the devil consisting of steel muscles", spoke about it Ivan Poddubny.

In 1915 Al-Klych enlisted. It served at a staff of the Caucasian Military district. Later, the authorities had suspicions that Al-Klych carries out work in favor of Turkey therefore, Al-Klycha sent under secret supervision of police to the Tomsk province.

Soon Al-Klych returned to Dagestan. He began to take active part in political events. During invasion of bicherakhovets, Al-Klych fought for independence of Dagestan. As the representative of the Dagestan executive committee "Dzhamiatul islamiye", it made for creation of national militia, for order maintenance in auls much. During invasion into Dagestan denikinets, bravely fought against aggressors.

Everywhere to it clapped, and everywhere he won brilliant victories. Won't be superfluous to add that one of sisters of Al-Klycha too possessed huge force. Once, at it is crowded in Temir the Khan Shura, it lifted and about the earth Kara Karayeva who opposed Al-Klycha in court when him detained hit the known Bolshevik. And Kara Karayev there was a person of considerable growth and an impressive constitution.

After a victory of October revolution of Al-Klych joined Nazhmudin Gotsinsky which was during this period at peak of the power. In January, 1918 the armed groups Gotsinsky, headed Al-Klychem, occupied the capital of Dagestan of that time — Temir-Han-Shuru. The staff Gotsinsky was in Nizhny Kazanishche in the estate of rural foreman Tonayev Dzhalava, and Al-Klych together with other nuker of the imam, were always at it. In March, 1918 Al-Klych headed group in 500 people for liquidation of Port-Petrovsky Revolutionary-military committee. Soon groups Gotsinsky seized also Port-Petrovsk, however in April, 1918 groups Gotsinsky left Port-Petrovsk, and departed to the mountain regions of Dagestan.

Unfortunately, life of this unusual person tragicly broke. At the beginning of summer of 1920 Hasayev arrested on charge of counterrevolutionary activity. Attempts of some known people of that time to release the athlete, didn't crown success. On July 11, 1920 Dagestan regional revtribunal  pronounced a sentence about Al-Klycha Hasayev's execution. Bolsheviks kept secret a place of burial of Al-Klycha therefore it isn't known to this day... 70 years later Al-Klych was rehabilitated.

It should be added that Al-Klych was the first professional wrestler in Dagestan
